Description
Tri-Art Burnt Umber Gesso is a professional-quality acrylic ground formulated with the highest concentration of 100% acrylic emulsion, pigment, and calcium carbonate. It provides a smooth, matte, and opaque surface ideal for both acrylic and oil paints. Water-permanent when dry, it offers strong adhesion and flexibility to prevent cracking, rubbing, flaking, or lifting from the substrate. Its highly pigmented tint allows for rich base tones, and 2–3 water-diluted coats are recommended for optimal results.
